Publisher Spotlight: Harlequin

Try Harlequin Blaze and get 2 FREE books! This month instead of doing a regular Author Spotlight, we’re going to do something a little different and spotlighting a publisher. Harlequin offers a wide range of options for every reader. I know the titles and covers of the category romances can be off-putting, but they really are amazing. I forced Rowena to read a couple last year and she didn’t hate them! High praise from her, trust me. (heh)

I love category romances because they’re fast, short reads but the quality of the stories are just as stellar as single titles. Plus, many favorite authors write category romance: Lori Foster, Lori Wilde, Linda Howard, Leslie Kelly, Alison Kent, Jill Shalvis, Lucy Monroe and many, many others. There’s really something for everyone: hot, steamy romances, paranormal romance, sweet, sappy baby romances, historical romances and everything in between.

Of course, Harlequin is about more than just category romances. There are some amazing single title authors, too. Robyn Carr, Debbie Macomber, Brenda Joyce, Susan Mallery, etc. They offer a wide range of strong romances for all women.

(125x125) May 31: Books on a Budget: SaveThis month we hope you’ll just us in trying a Harlequin novel..whether it be a single or category title from author you already know you love or something new from an author you’ve never heard of before.

Be sure to stick around this month for excerpts, reviews and commentary. Plus, we have some polls planned about your favorite authors..and some of the worst titles you’ve ever heard.

You definitely can’t judge Harlequin these days (or Mills and Boon as it originally was – and still is outside of the US).

So many different books – I’ve bought Mills and Boon/MIRA/whatever books all over the world without even realising what publisher they came from.

In Australia eHarlequin sells just about everything – you can buy things like Charlaine Harris books on the Australian website! So I hardly think it’s fair the way people hold up so many of their books as a joke!
