  1. Hm, specifically paranormal or sci-fi, I want to go with the lovely Soulless by Gail Carriger. Sure a mix of genres but some paranormal romance mixed in too

  2. I’ve read a lot of great paranormal romances this year, I think I’m going to have to say Rachel Vincent’s shifter series has been my favorite – Stray, Rogue, Pride, and Prey. Great series with good characters who grow and change with each book.

  3. The only paranormal romances I’ve read recently have all been by Amanda Ashley, and they were just OK. I’m waiting on Dark Hunger by Rita Herron & I’m hoping it will be yummy. Thanks!

  4. Emma L.

The only paranormal I read recently was Catherine Coulter’s Wizard’s Daughter (part of the Bride Series). It was okay, but I prefer her other books.

  5. Oh, there have been so many.
Branded by Fire – Nalini Singh
    Tempest Rising – Nicole Peeler
    Bloody Good – Georgia Evans
    and
Nice Girls Don’t Date Dead Men by Molly Harper
are the best that I could narrow it down to.

  6. I dont read sci fi but if you can call these paranormal, than I have enjoyed them: Judi McCoy’s and Karen Kelley’s alien series books and Deb Macomber angel series.

  7. I have a tie…

Knights of the Darkness Chronicles by D.N. Simmons

The Little Goddess series by Amy Lane

Both were unique and fasciating. They will remain on my “re-read” shelf.

    Thanks,
    Tracey

  8. Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. I’ve just started the series and it’s fantastic!I can’t wait to read the rest but I also loved The Demonica Series by Larissa Ione.

  9. My favorite paranormal book this year has been Red Headed Step Child by Jaye Wells or Friday Night Bites by Chloe Neill. Its so hard to pick just one

  10. I read an ARC of Three Days to Dead by Kelly Meding (urban fantasy) and was pretty damn pleased with it! I’d say that’s been my favorite book so far this year. 🙂

  11. Favourite paranormal book has to be City of Bones from the Mortal Instruments trilogy. I suppose I have a soft spot for young adult books. *laughs*

  12. I haven’t read as many paranormals this year, but really enjoyed the Kresley Cole Immortals After Dark series….just wish the wait was not so long in between Kiss of a Demon King and the new one 🙁

  13. Mary Betg

I think this is classified sci fi–I loved Lois McMaster Bujold’s Sharing Knife series. I’m happy to see all the votes for Nalini Singh, though, because I just bought two of her books.

  14. Jane

My favorite was Cynthia Eden’s “Midnight’s Master. I also enjoyed Heather Graham’s Flynn Brothers Trilogy.

  15. Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs. I love her writing. There have been tons of great books out there this year and so many more soon to be released.
