Book Bag Giveaway: Day 10

Posted September 15, 2009 by Casee in Reviews | 51 Comments

Today’s bag has four books total with one being autographed. Included in the bag is:

The Girl from Junchow by Kate Furnivall

Mystic Warrior by Patricia Rice
Hotbed by Porita Da Costa (autographed)
Servant: The Kindred by LL Foster

As most of us know, LL Foster also writes as Lori Foster. To be entered in today’s giveaway, answer this question: Who is an author that writes under multiple pseudonyms and is good writing under both/all names?
Mine would probably be Elizabeth Hoyt/Julia Harper.

  1. Ooh! Pick me! I, too, love Hoyt/Harper.

We have a book giveaway going on, too: Tracy Wolff is talking about heroines and giving away one of her books. Feel free to stop by!

  2. Ooh, that’s a tough one! Great bag! I have to say one of my favorites is Toni Blake who writes contemporaries and also writes Erotica under the name of Lacey Alexander.

I love Elizabeth Hoyt/Julia Harper too and Jennifer Ashley came to mind also, so have to think of another one :). I will go with Nora Roberts/J D Robb although lately I prefer the J D Robb books.

  4. I would have to go with Anne Rice/Anne Rampling/A.N. Roquelaure. Her vampire stuff was different from her Beauty series but both were very good.

  5. I love Amanda Quick’s novels…and I know that is a nom de plume for Jayne Anne Krentz (as well as Jayne Castle). Now, I haven’t read any titles under her other names, but I know they are very popular and my MIL loves Jayne Anne Krentz…I suppose I should eventually try one!

I really like Elizabeth Hoyt/Julia Harper too, but another fav is Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick.

Have to say I believe the one who writes the most like that, Nora Roberts! Love her under both names!! I’m a HUGE Lori Foster fan, but haven’t read one LL Foster, YET!! I would love this package to get me started.

  8. I am a fan of Elizabeth Hoyt/Julia Harper’s books! Oh, and then there is Wendy Corsi Staub/Wendy Markham. Love her books!

    Absolutely fantastic book bag giveaway!

  9. It’s gotta be Nora Roberts/JD Robb. Love Nora’s books but I think her JD Robb In Death series is the best I’ve ever read!

    Thanks

It’s not traditional romance, but Elizabeth Phillips/Barbara Michaels writes wonderful books. I love the Elizabeth Phillips books a bit more (history/archaeology, mystery, and romance, yay!). The Barbara Michaels books are a bit more gothic mystery/romance. And interestingly, the books are typically found in the “mystery” section…

  11. I love Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick – she always delivers great stories regardless of genre 😀
Oh and I can’t forget to add Sherrilyn Kenyon/Kinley McGregor, Shayla Black/Shelley Bradley and Sylvia Day/SJ Day who all deliver regardless of name used.

  12. I love Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick – she always delivers great stories regardless of genre 😀

  13. I would have to say Katie MacAlister/Kate Marsh/Katie Maxwell. And I’ve heard she has another book (but it doesn’t list it anywhere on her site) under Marthe Arends.

  14. I would have to say Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb. I love her short, fun love stories, as well as the more complex characters in the In Death series.

  15. Em

My first thought was also Nora Roberts/ J.D. Robb– I love both.

Meg Cabot also writes under several names– Meggin for adult romances, Patricia Cabot, and she wrote some YA books as Jenny Carroll.

  16. Amy Huber

I love the Alexandra Ivy/Deborah Raleigh books – (Go Team Levet!).

As always, thanks for the contest!
