What a cute book this turned out to be! I’ve seen many reviews from people who have enjoyed this story and I’m glad that I enjoyed this book as much as everyone else did. I thought this book was too cute, too funny and sooo sexy. The sex scenes in this book steamed up the pages and were just flat out sexy. Heidi Betts should take a bow for writing such sexy scenes.

Ronnie Chasen and Dylan Stone hate each other’s guts. They both write for different newspapers and they’ve taken to trying to one up each other by challenging the other to different stunts trying to see who has the bigger balls. The latest challenge comes from Ronnie, who challenges Dylan to learn how to knit. At first, Dylan is pissed off because knitting? He has to learn how to knit and he only has a month to learn…what manly man would ever take something up like knitting?

But take it up, Dylan does and who knew that he would enjoy his little private knitting lessons so much? Especially since they were with the one person that he shouldn’t like at all since she’s a raving lunatic when it comes to him but he can’t seem to get her heartshaped ass out of his mind and how much he wants to take a bite out of it.

Watching these two go at it verbally and then watching these two light the sheets on fire was fun. I thought that they were well suited to each other when they weren’t being asses to each other and I really enjoyed watching them get along with each other and then actually talking to each other. I thought the chemistry between both Ronnie and Dylan was well done and I am seriously looking forward to reading the next book.

Dylan was a sexy hero. He wasn’t this richy rich uber smooth guy but totally normal. The kind of guy that you’d meet in your everyday life and I enjoyed that about him. Every guy that I know is crazy about sports, has a billion sports stats in their heads and it was so good to finally meet a hero who wasn’t an actual athlete but was crazy about sports all the same. This was my absolute favorite thing about Dylan. The way that he was such a normal guy, who thought and acted and did guy things. It was great getting to know him and I was totally soft for him, loved him and thought he was such a guy…I loved it!

Ronnie was a good heroine. She was one of those smart heroines that you could see yourself being friends with. She was that friend who was too stubborn for her own good and you wanted someone to come along and shake her up a little bit. She was a great match for Dylan and watching the sparks fly between them was great.

The other characters in the story didn’t do much to drive the story along but I enjoyed getting to know them and I look forward to more from them. When I first started reading the book, I thought that this book was the second book in the series because of Zack and Grace’s relationship but as far as I can tell, this book is the first in this series and now I’m wondering if Zack and Grace are going to get their own book. Curious minds want to know but I will definitely be reading Jenna and Gage’s story, I really liked Gage in this story so I’m already pining for that book. Bring it on!

This book was a great romp of a book, one that entertained me over the weekend and had me laughing, smiling and turning the pages. I wasn’t bored at all while reading this book and I don’t think anyone else will be either. It was a great way to spend a few hours and I’m glad I picked this book up. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cute summer read for those trips to the beach where something light and funny would do.
