He’s a tall order. She’s a hot dish. Are they ready for the main course?
Natalie Bocuse is a waitress at her sister’s French bistro in Brooklyn, yet she dreams of managing a chic restaurant in Manhattan.
Among the regulars is Quinn O’Brian, a reporter known for breaking stories—and hearts. When he offers Natalie a job at his parents’ Irish pub in Manhattan, she jumps at the chance to be one step closer to her dream. But Quinn will need the luck of the Irish to charm Natalie and write a happy ending to his own love story.
This book will be available on May 5, 2009.
Here’s another heads up. I haven’t read too many Deirdre Martin books but this one looks to be pretty good so I’m excited to read it. I love the cover and those shoes that she’s wearing in this one are too cute for words so really, I will definitely be reading this book. Look for my review to come in the following weeks.
Is anyone else going to be reading this as well?
This book is available from Penguin. You can pre-order it here or here in e-format.
I have read all of Deirdre Martin’s book. Can’t wait to pick this one up.
I’ve never read this author, but it does look like a good book.
Deirdre Martin is usually hit and miss with me. I’m actually glad the hero is not a sport jock… I’ll probably reserve judgment till some reviews are posted or after I skimmed through the book at the bookstore.
OK, I’m sure you’re all going to shoot me but..why would a waitress, who is on their feet for the majority of their job, wear shoes like that?
*shakes head*
Her feet would be killing her by the end of the shift…probably with the shoes 🙂 Yes, the shoe gene completely missed me 🙂
