Since Chase Falladay came to her rescue two years ago, Kia Stanton has never been able to forget the powerful man or the kind of life he leads. So two years later when she runs into Chase and his friend, Khalid, and leaves with them that night, she knows exactly where it is all heading. However, little prepares her for what it is like to be in Chase’s arms, and in his bed. After years of holding back, Kia is finally able to be the woman she’s always dreamed of being in his arms.Kia is a dream Chase has not allowed himself to entertain. Now that he has her, it’s her heart he’s after and he’s determined to win it, no matter the cost. And even though they both agreed that it would only be for pleasure, somewhere along the way it becomes and all-consuming love.
I’ve read the Bound Heart series since the first book came out. Lora Leigh has come really far as a writer. I love this series, even though I would roll my eyes while reading it b/c it was so cliche. I’ve noticed that that has changed in the last several Bound Hearts books.
Only Pleasure picks up where Wicked Pleasure left off. Chase Falladay hasn’t recovered from having to kill a friend in order to save his brother’s life. Though Chase would do it again, he can’t forgive himself for not seeing how sick Moriah was. Even as he tells himself that Cameron would be dead if Chase hadn’t pulled the trigger, it doesn’t stop the nightmares. Kia Stanton is the only woman that chases him nightmares away, if only for a few hours.
Kia knows exactly what Chase prefers sexually. After her ex-husband tries to force her to have a menage, Kia can’t believe it when she finds herself with Chase and Khalid. Chase and her ex-husband, Drew, are as different as night and day. Where she felt embarrassment and rage with Drew, with Chase she feels safe and aroused. There’s only one small problem; Chase wants nothing to do with her oustide the bedroom. After hearing of Chase and Cameron Falladay’s sexual escapades for years, Kia was crushed that Chase couldn’t be bothered to see her for anything but sex.
Determined to stay far away from the man that could destroy what’s left of her heart, Kia tries to pull the tattered pieces of her life back together. That turns out to be a lot harder than she anticipated. After being attacked outside her apartment, Kia suddenly finds herself with a six foot guard dog.
Chase tried to stay away from Kia, knowing that what he would demand would be too much to ask for. Yet when she’s injured, Chase abruptly decides that Kia will have him whether she’s ready or not. While this way of thinking seems very arrogant (it is), there’s also something about Chase that is very sad. His reasons for trying to stay away from Kia are admirable and it takes him awhile to figure out that Kia can be the strong woman that Chase needs.
Readers of this series will like this installment. I really liked Wicked Pleasures, but I liked Only Pleasure better.
This book is available from St. Martin’s Press. You can buy it here.

Eek! I still need to finish Wicked Pleasure.
This is a good series 🙂
I like your review. I haven’t read any of the books in the series, but I’m thinking I may need to change that now.
I love Lora Leigh’s Breed series! I’ll have to try this one next.
Thanks for the review.
Hot damn that’s a lot of books in this series. Is this an open end series?
Thanks Casee, I have been waiting for your review. I am looking forward to this read. It sounds like it has good depth/complexity to the story with lots of trademark Lora Leigh heat! And the cover is beautiful too.
