In September we interviewed Jill Shalvis and invited her to play with us for a day. This month we’ve asked her to come back. She’s writing a guest post for us which we plan to post soon in keeping with our Instant Attraction Month. She also said she’d be willing to do another Q&A, but we thought this time we’d change things up a bit.
We’ve interviewed Jill Shalvis a couple of times and have asked her every question we’ve ever wanted to ask her so now it’s your turn, dear readers. Do you have a burning question that you’re dying to ask her but haven’t asked yet? Is there something about her characters that you’re dying to know about? Are you curious about any future stories she might have in the hopper? Well, Book Binge is giving you a chance to get your questions answered.
All you have to do is either leave us a comment on this thread and ask your question for Jill or just shoot us a quick email over at admin@thebookbinge.com and we’ll make sure that your questions get sent over to Jill for answers.
Easy peasy, right? Well, let’s make this Author Interview a good one guys, let’s put our journalistic hats on and start asking those questions everyone is dying to know but too shy to ask! We’ll be accepting questions up until January 20, 2009 so make sure that you get those questions into us as soon as you can.
Ready, Set, Go, Go, Go….
Enjoy,
Holly, Rowena and Casee
I’d like to know where she gets her ideas from. She has unusual characters, wonderful but unusual.
What time do you write? Do you write with music?
Are your characters based on people you know?
For anyone who has never read your books how would you describe them?
Jill,
On your blog you chronicle events from your life living in the Sierras. Any chance your future books feature an appearance of Momma and Baby bear, running into Luke Wilson while walking on a trail without a camera or that ‘special’ stump?
Wondering minds want to know. Yes there will be cookies.
Hi Jill,
What is the most common question you get asked? Not counting ‘where do you get your ideas’. That’s a given, I think. LOL
Jill, do your daughters read your books? And, if they do, how old were they the first time they did?
Jill, do you think the characters you come up with and/or the issues they face in your stories are affected by your family/people in your life? For example, the worries or hopes you have for them specifically translating into a story idea? If that makes any sense at all… whatsoever…
What genre would you like to write, but haven’t thus far?
