It’s 6 months before Niall has ciome to terms with her life and her past and is ready to try to get Vic back. Unfortunately she has a pretty rough time trying to get Vic to listen to reason.
The first part of this book reads almost like a straight erotic novel. At one point I was thinking that there was almost too much sex. But then the whole tempo of the book slows down, but not in a bad way, to be more of a romance. And once the romance begins it’s just beautiful. This is a very emotional story full of love and the ability to forgive and move on.
I very much was drawn into the two main characters of the book. They were both strong but they each had their secrets that had shaped their lives and that just had me quickly turning pages. It was a really good book and I would definitely recommend it.Rating: 4 out of 5
Well it’s no secret that it totally worked for me. Great review Tracy!
I read the book a few weeks ago and I thought that the thing about the sex was that it WAS their relationship for part of it, it was very integral to how they related to each other. I thought it was actually a really fabulous example of an erotic romance that needed the sex. If you took the sex out, the book would have been much different, their relationship dynamics would have been completely different!
Angela – oh I completely agree – the story definitely wouldn’t have been the same if the sex was removed.
Lori and Stacy – glad you liked it as much as I did! 🙂
I am sold on this book. Next on my TBR list 😀
I loved this book. I loved the emotion of it as much as I loved the erotic chemistry.
Terrific review, as usual, Tracy!
This book is all over the place. I feel like I’m being haunted by it, which means that I need to go ahead and read it.
Thanks for the review!
Katie and Brie – you NEED to read this!
Kati – you are right on the money. That’s exactly why I loved it.
I read, enjoyed, reviewed and gave the same grade as you did *g*. Her next book looks real good too!
Yup – totally agree. I was worried about this being more of an erotica than a romance for the first couple chapters as well, but it settled into a great book after that. I really liked it also.
This book sounds great. I’ve been wanting to get it since I first heard about it and your review definitely has it on my list. I may have to move it up a bit.
I have added this book to my list. I hope to get it soon!
Thanks for the review.
