Getting her back will be the toughest deal they’ve ever negotiated.
On the night of her fifth anniversary, Catherine Cullen-Wellesley intends to break the news to the two men in her life. She’s pregnant with their child. It’ll be the perfect preamble to the vacation they’ve promised her: Two weeks on a Jamaican beach. No cell phones, no emails, no business.
But when Logan and Rhys blow off the trip for yet another “business emergency”, Catherine faces some difficult truths. She hasn’t come first in her busy husbands’ lives in a long time. Defiantly, she packs her bags for her long-awaited vacation—alone. It’ll give her a chance to figure out what the hell she’s going to do with the rest of her life.
When Logan and Rhys come home to an empty house, they realize two things: One, it was a mistake to take Catherine for granted. Two, they’re not willing to just let her walk out of their lives.
Winning her back will be the most difficult battle of their lives—more important than any business deal they’ve ever negotiated.
I was really surprised at how much I liked this book. Usually it’s hard for me to wrap my mind around a woman that is in a committed relationship w/ two men. More than once, one of the men dies, so by the end of the book it’s a “traditional” HEA. I kept expecting that to happen in this book, but it didn’t. I’m glad it didn’t b/c I would have been really disappointed if it would have.
Catherine Cullen-Wellesley loves her husbands and is thrilled when she discovers she is pregnant. Planning to surprise them at their anniversary dinner, Catherine is crushed when they don’t show up. It finally makes her admit to herself that her marriage is in trouble. Hoping that the two week vacation she planned for the three of them will help revive their troubled relationship, Catherine is devastated when they cancel at the last minute. Determined to go alone and do some serious soul searching, Catherine heads to Jamaica.
When Catherine leaves without a word, Logan Wellseley and Rhys Cullen are forced to take a long hard look at what kind of husband they have been to their wife. Putting business before everything else, Logan and Rhys realize that they could lose they very person that drives them to work so hard. Dropping everything and going to Jamaica, Logan and Rhys only hope that they’re in time to save the marriage that means so much to them both.
The fact that Logan and Rhys love Catherine isn’t really the issue in this book. You can tell they do love her, but sometimes just like in real life, love isn’t enough. Catherine makes Logan and Rhys take a long hard look at how they have been treating her and their marriage. The dynamic of the relationship makes for very interesting reading. I really was surprised at how much I liked it.

1 woman, 2 men, 1 relationship? Um, I can’t wrap my brain around that.

Wow. I’m seeing a lot of MMF lately. I love how you write this..what kind of husband they have been to their wife. Sounds like a good read. Unless you’re a Morman man.
I love Maya’s books. I can’t wait to read this one. Books that occur after then typical HEA always interest me. I think that is one reason I like series where you get to visit with past couples.
This is my favorite Banks’ book. I love when we take a look into the lives of people who supposedly already have their HEA. Plus Banks does polyamorous relationships really well. Can’t wait for Be With Me.
Sounds like a good read…
Copy, I’ve resisted as long as I could.
“Sounds like a good read. Unless you’re a Mormon man.”
Then it’s justice.
