Fun meme game:
Christine at The Happily Ever… assigned me a letter. Here’s what I’m to do:
1. Comment on this blog and ask for a letter if you want to play.
2. I will give you one.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters whose name begins with that letter, and post their names and your comments on that character on your blog.
Christine assigned me the letter ‘S.’ (which is kind of cool since that’s what my last name starts with)
1. Sam Starrett, one of the heroes from the Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann. Sam is a tough, sexy cowboy. A hard ass but yet a wonderful husband and father. He’s a Lt. in Seal Team 16 and will always have your back. Gone Too Far is technically his and Alyssa’s book but I really liked him in Over The Edge the best.
2. Savitri Murray, heroine of Demon Moon by Meljean Brook. Savitri is intelligent, beautiful and just an all around incredible character. 
3. Shade brother of Eidelon in Larissa Ione’s Pleasure Unbound. Shade’s book, Desire Unchained, will be out in March of 2009. Shade is just one giant hottie IMO. He’s a Seminus Demon which is a rare breed of Incubus. He has some series commitment issues but I think he’s gonna get called on them in his book and I can hardly wait!
4. Sterling Chase, from Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed Series. Once a Breed official he is now a warrior himself. I’m not sure how I feel about Sterling aka “Harvard”. He has issues, issues, issues but hopefully he can overcome them in time. Kiss of Crimson was the book that first introduced Sterling.
5. Storm from the X-Men. She controls and generates weather. How cool is that? She has some serious claustrophobia but is an excellent lockpicker so she can get herself out of most claustrophobic situations.

Oh, Sterling Chase is an inspired answer, Tracy! And Savitri, too. I don’t know your other S’s but I think I should meet them. You know, one of our S friends, Sarai, is quite big on Sterling. I believe he’s in her hut!

Yes, Sterling is in Sarai’s hut. I’ll have to read more about him to decide if I like him or not! lol So far she doesn’t have a book for him coming out – maybe he’ll be a sub-plot in one of the other books.
Ahhh I love me some Harvard! Tortured just does it for me, it’s all the more sweeter when they get thier hea!
I’m sure Lara said that Harvard would have to go through some more shit before he got his hea! Sarai and I bonded over our love of Harvard. I’m sure it will be the death of us as well! *g*
I loved Shade but I loved WRaith more. I can’t wait for the the next two installments of this series.
I like Savi, but I like Charlie better but that might be because I love Ethan even more. *le sigh* Love Meljean too!
This is such a fun meme but difficult to I would imagine.

Oh, Sterling…he’s going to have a book, right? I felt bad for him in the one book (can’t remember the name of it…it’s too early) There was a scene with him in a bar…I think it was him…it was a good scene!
Oh, and I can’t wait for Shade’s book!
Amy – I remember that scene. I could never tell if that was his true nature coming through the starch that he'd lived with for so long or what. Hmmm.
According to Adrian's site book 5 Veil of Midnight comes out in Jan. and that's Nikolai's book. Books 6, 7 & 8 already have their heroes and Sterling's not one of them. He REALLY has to has to go through some stuff before he gets his book.
Oh, the excerpt of Shade’s book has me very excited. Ms. Ione is doing creating some serious with what happened to Rune (especially if it happened when I think it happened in the first book.) I can’t wait to read it!
Isn’t Sam fabulous? I just love him. Over the Edge is one of my absolute favotire of Brockmann’s books. Between the Sam/Alyssa stuff and Stan… le sigh.
