I’m still on the fence about it. I think it’s destined to disappoint somewhat, because it’s been so built up. I’d like to say it’s going to be the best book I’ve ever read, but I doubt it. Not that that means I’m not going to read it like, AS SOON AS I GET IT, but still, I’m just saying…

Re-reading my comment it does sound like that, and in a way I meant for it to, because I on the one hand I want to be HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY OMFG EXCITED to read it, but on the other hand I feel like I need to go into it with extreme caution.
Although..I still haven’t read the last 3 or 4, so…
I read Kat’s review earlier today and starred it in my google reader to comment on later. She did a really good job of reviewing it…….but I couldn’t contain myself. I went to the RRT BBS and found out who the heroine was. That’s just me. And I bet I’m the only one who reads the last chapter of a book before I start it, too (gee, wonder where I’ve heard that before??).

Holly ~ Not surprised. Glad to know I’m in good company.
I got an early copy of Acheron and just have 100 pages left to read. The first half is brutal and brilliant. The second half reads like a typical Dark Hunter novel. (Not a bad thing – just be warned it’s like 2 books in one.) I’m not sure if the heroine lives up to deserving Ash, but I can’t decide if it’s her or just cause I feel I should be the only girl for him. 😉
Can’t wait til it’s officially released so I can discuss it more!!!
