What is going on with his hands? Is he holding something? Or just excited about his own fingers? Also, his hair. Why TF is it smudged out like that?
This a no from me all the way around.

The title also leaves one wondering. Is it pronounced num-ber as in one, two, three? Or numb-er as in more numb?
I’m with Kareni: the cover is just standard wtf, but that title is some next-level nonsense. What is a Ber Neighbor? Why is Num is parentheses? Even without the parentheses, what the heck does Number Neighbor mean? It sounds like a math concept used to teach kindergarteners the number line: “Seven and eight are number neighbors. Can anyone tell me what nine’s number neighbor is?”
Ok—obviously I’m old because I never heard of Number Neighbor, but the Amazon blurb for this book defines it thusly: “Number Neighbor—A social media game in which a person texts the phone number one digit higher or lower than their own.”
Oh! I have heard of that. I didn’t realize that’s what this was. Still, pretty awful.
Clearly I’m old, too, as I’d not heard of number neighbors previously. (Admittedly, DDD, I liked your math concept idea.)
definitely thought he might be on a phone, possibly texting from the shower?
