From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Dream Man series…
Charlotte “Lottie” McAlister is in the zone. She’s ready to take on the next chapter of her life, and since she doesn’t have a man, she’ll do what she’s done all along. She’ll take care of business on her own. Even if that business means starting a family.
The problem is, Lottie has a stalker. The really bad kind. The kind that means she needs a bodyguard.
Enter Mo Morrison.
Enormous. Scary.
Quiet.
Mo doesn’t say much, and Lottie’s used to getting attention. And she wants Mo’s attention. Badly.
But Mo has a strict rule. If he’s guarding your body, that’s all he’s doing with it.
However, the longer Mo has to keep Lottie safe, the faster he falls for the beautiful blonde who has it so together, she might even be able to tackle the demons he’s got in his head that just won’t die.
But in the end, Lottie and Mo don’t only have to find some way to keep hands off until the threat is over, they have to negotiate the overprotective Hot Bunch, Lottie’s crazy stepdad, Tex, Mo’s crew of frat-boy commandos, not to mention his nutty sisters.
All before Lottie finally gets her Dream Man.
And Mo can lay claim to his Dream Girl.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Charlotte “Lottie Mac” McAllister is cruising along in life and loving it. She’s a headliner at a local strip club and makes enough money to live more than comfortably. She is close friends with her co-workers and her sister Jet. Life can’t get any better for Lottie. That’s until she finds out from her boss that he has been getting threatening letters about her. Anonymous of course. Smith cares deeply about his girls so he calls in a favor from Hawk Delgado for one of his men to be Lottie’s bodyguard. Additional letters arrive, all worse than the one before. Lottie is properly cautious, but she’s not afraid. Especially not with Mo Morrison guarding her back.

Mo Morrison doesn’t say very much, but he still gets his feelings across loud and clear. Mo moves in with Lottie to protect her and it’s not long until it seems like it will be too hard to fight their attraction. But Mo has a rule. He doesn’t get involved with clients. But he wants to get involved with Lottie. Lucky for him, they find the stalker watching Lottie at the strip club. Hawk’s team definitely operates in a gray area and they can’t decide what to do with the stalker. Eventually he’s turned over to the police.

I really, really enjoyed this story. I loved Lottie and Mo together. I loved how you knew what Mo was thinking even when he wasn’t speaking. I just loved the book from start to finish. It reads more like a full length novel than a novella. It is Kristen Ashley after all. I really enjoyed seeing the camaraderie between Lottie and her fellow strippers. I liked that this book took place in a strip club and wasn’t sleazy. I just enjoyed this book from start to finish.
