What Are You Reading? (504)

Casee: I’m reading Reaper by Larissa Ione. Reaper is the 17th? 19th? book in the Demonica series. I’ve loved this series since its inception way back in the day. Holy crap, but this book packs a punch. The action in this book? Wowza. I’m traveling today and am really looking forward to reading more of it. Maybe I’ll even finish it.

I’m listening to Wait by A.L. Jackson. The wait is the fourth book in the Bleeding Stars series. I’m really liking it. Honestly, though, I can’t wait to move onto to the fifth book. The next hero is going to be amazing.

Holly: I finished my re-read of Saving Grace by Julie Garwood, but I stalled out reading Spider’s Bite by Jennifer Estep. It has nothing to do with the book, I just haven’t had any dedicated reading time. I’m doing better with audiobooks at the moment, because I’m swamped at work and I’m able to multitask. I did re-read The Gamble by Kristen Ashley, but that’s all the “reading” time I had. I listened to The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare, which was lovely. I really enjoyed the narrator, and the story itself was fun.

I’m currently listening to An Inquiry Into Love and Death by Simone St. James. I’m determined to finish Spider’s Bite this weekend. Wish me luck?

Rowena: This week I read Four Days of You and Me by Miranda Kenneally and thought that was a cute read. I also read A Madness of Sunshine by Nalini Singh which was another good read, and I did another quick re-read of Saving Grace by Julie Garwood because I absolutely adore that book. I really, really love that book and will probably re-read it at least twice a year for the rest of my years. I freaking love Johanna and Gabriel and everyone in their lives.

I took a day off yesterday from reading because I had a million things to do for my family’s Halloween party last night. So today, I’ll be starting The One for You (The Ones that Got Away #4) by Roni Loren. I can’t freaking wait!

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

Still on my Kate Canterbary backlist glom and am absolutely loving THE CORNERSTONE about an older sister who has always taken care of her siblings and doesn’t know how to react when a man want to take care of her.

    Recent reads ~

    — Life According to Liam by V.L. Locey proved to be an enjoyable male/male romance.
    — reread The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison which I enjoyed once again.
    — I’d heard excellent reviews of The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix Harrow; however, I only read half of it before needing to return it to the library. What I read was interesting but not sufficiently compelling to have me continue. Perhaps another time.
    — Planetside by Michael Mammay which was recommended in a recent newsletter by authors SK Dunstall. I enjoyed the book which ended with a bang and left me wishing to read on. I’d describe it as a military science fiction mystery.
