A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band's publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.

Only problem is, Thea doesn't date clients--or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she's not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.

What she doesn't know is that David is a one-woman man...and he's madly in love with her. David's determined to prove he's worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea's about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.

Tracy’s review of Rock Courtship (Rock Kiss #1.5) by Nalini Singh

In Rock Addiction we read about David, the drummer of Schoolboy Choir, and how he was completely gone for the bands PR person, Thea. He is heartbroken when she turns him down for a date but then Thea’s sister, Molly, who is in love with lead singer Fox, tells him how to get her attention: send a memo. Apparently Thea can’t help but read her email so David takes Molly’s advice and emails her a well thought out memo.

Thea, as Molly predicted, can’t help herself from reading the memo that David has written. His memo hits his mark and makes Thea stop and think about a few things. She emails back and that starts a back and forth between the two that gets more interesting and hotter and hotter as they write. Soon Thea realizes that this is something that she’s wanted for a while and she’s finally willing to take a chance on them.

This was such a sweet and wonderful novella. I loved Thea and David together and their memos back and forth had me smiling constantly. David was a good guy and my heart ached for him when Thea turned his request for a date down. She really broke his heart and I wasn’t sure he would have the balls to try again – thank God he did.

The communication between Thea and David was perfect. I loved that they actually talked about things and didn’t let issues (of which there were a few) get in the way of their relationship. That’s how ALL couples should be. 🙂

The story was short but oh, so good – as well as fun, exciting and seriously sexy. I can’t wait for the next story in the series.
