Holly and I have been talking about how we don’t discuss books as much as we used to.  We met on an online author’s board where we used to discuss a different book each month and the discussions were fun, lively and they went on and on and on.  We used to talk about our favorite characters, play fun word games and we used to just have the best time talking about what we loved about each book and what we hated about them. It was during those discussions that my love and passion of reading and for books began.

We want to bring that awesome-ness to Book Binge so it was decided…we’re going to start a book club!

Each month we’re going to discuss a different book.  We’ll be discussing our favorite scenes and our least favorite characters. In between all of the awesome book discussions, we’ll be having fun giveaways and just a lot of good times.

Our first book discussion is scheduled to begin in March and run throughout the entire month.  The first book up for discussion is The Duke & I by Julia Quinn and if you don’t have it already, the book is on sale for both nook and kindle users for only $1.99.

Simon Basset, the irresistible Duke of Hastings, has hatched a plan to keep himself free from the town′s marriage-minded society mothers. He pretends to be engaged to the lovely Daphne Bridgerton. After all, it isn′t as if the brooding rogue has any real plans to marry – though there is something about the alluring Miss Bridgerton that sets Simon′s heart beating a bit faster. And as for Daphne, surely the clever debutante will attract some very worthy suitors now that it seems a duke has declared her desirable. But as Daphne waltzes across ballroom after ballroom with Simon, she soon forgets that their courtship is a complete sham. And now she has to do the impossible and keep herself from losing her heart and soul completely to the handsome hell-raiser who has sworn off marriage forever!

So be sure to get your own copy here:

Each month we’ll be discussing a different book and we’ll be adhering to the following schedule:

March- The Duke & I by Julia Quinn
April- Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas
May- Military Theme
June- DFRAT
July- Summer Romance
August- Medeival Romance
September- Back to School (New Adult)
October- Paranormal Romance
November- Winter Theme
December- Holiday Romance

We’re really excited to add a book club to Book Binge and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.  The more, the merrier.

See you there!
