Author Spotlight: My Reasons I’m Thankful for Rachel Gibson.

With Thanksgiving coming up, I thought it would be an awesome time to share with all of you lovely readers just why I’m so thankful to Rachel Gibson.

Rachel Gibson is a contemporary romance author who has penned many great novels and we should all have something that we’re grateful to her for.

Here’s my list of ten reasons why I’m thankful for Rachel Gibson.

1. Luc Martineau’s tattoo. I’m so freaking thankful for that.
2. Sebastian Vaughan. His cocky attitude and his straight up sexiness. Rachel introduced me to an amazing hero who just totally got me in the chest area. Even though nobody else gets him, I do and I love him to pieces so thank you Rachel Gibson for sharing him with us!
3. The writers series. She gave us four fantastic stories about writers finding true love that entertained the socks right off of me. I love the characters in this series, I loved getting to know them, watching them fight their way to that happy ending. It was all just so great.
4. The hockey series. I’ve never been much of a hockey fan but this series sure does make me want to start. LOL. I love these books and I’m so sorry to see them leave.
5. The laughs. I can’t begin to tell you how often I’ve stayed up late reading an RG and laughing my tail off. When I was reading Simply Irresistible, I remember my sister coming into the room, asking me why I was laughing so much.
6. The emotions. Rachel Gibson sure does write lighthearted romances but in each and every single one of her books, she does pull at my heart strings as well. She knows how to write a great balance of emotional and humorous scenes that always keeps me coming back for more.

Those are just some of the reasons that I’m thankful for Rachel Gibson…it’s a time for sharing so share with us, why are YOU grateful to Rachel Gibson?

  1. Cant think of anything in particular other than I LOVE her books and am truly thankful for that.

Just the name Luc Martineau sounds sexy and forgot – where and what is his tatoo?

  2. You had me at Luc’s tattoo! LOL

    Love sexy, funny, emotional reads.

BTW – Don’t understand why people just don’t “walk on by” if the subject does not interest them.

  3. I love Rachel Gibson for all the reasons that you mentioned..I loved Sebastian and Luc’s tattoo!!

I am right now reading writer’s series. I have been a tad lax in my reading lately and decided that I was going to go through and read all the books that I haven’t read of my favorite authors and I decided to start with Rachel Gibson!

I just love her stories…emotional, funny, and just all around great!

  4. I am so Thankful that her book True Love and Other Disasters called to me on the shelf. I’ve enjoyed getting ahold of all her past books, they have kept me enthralled. I am thankful for all the smoking hot bedroom scenes, not only bedroom but the smoking hot grocery store scene and the smoking hot Island scene. LOL, come on girls, you know the books I’m talking about 🙂 I’m thankful for the amazing characters she has written and for giving me a chance to wish for my very own Chinooks hottie 🙂

    Pat. L,

Luc Martineau is the hero from RG’s See Jane Score. If you haven’t read it yet, you should! You have to witness Luc’s tattoo all for yourself. =)

    Patti,

I’m so with you as she did the same for me.

    Alex,

Awww, good pick! Lexie is such a wonderful character! I agree!

    Mary G.,

Don’t you just want to lick it? Haha, loved Luc!

    Lori,

There’s something about Sebastian that just gets me every time. What book are you reading now? I loved her writers series.

    Soft Fuzzy Sweater,

    LOL, good one!

    Jolene,

Of course I know what you’re talking about, those scenes were all extra hot and one of the many reasons I love me some Rachel Gibson! =)

I want my own Chinook hottie too! =)
