Kris’ review of Bone Magic (Sister of the Moon Book 7) by Yasmine Galenorn

Another equinox is here, and life’s getting more tumultuous for the D’Artigo sisters. Smoky, the dragon of Camille’s dreams, must choose between his family and her. Plus, the sisters can’t locate the new demon general in town. And Camille’s summoned to Otherworld, thinking she’ll reunite with her long-lost soul mate Trillian. But once there, she must undergo a drastic ritual that will forever change her and those she loves.

This one is from Camille’s perspective. If you have not read the other books in the series, please go back and start at the beginning. These are an urban fantasy series with some romantic undertones. The storyline is the emphasis, not the romance. The characters are all very sensual though so there are some scenes in the series over all that are not everyone’s cuppa.

This was a good addition to the series. I liked it better than the last book. Trillion finally comes back and so Camille finally gets all of her guys in one place. Wanted a little more drama there, but it was other places so that was ok. The storyline was constantly moving forward so it never lost momentum or my interest. They met with all the various Queens and got unwillingly involved in various confusing political plots, went after Stacia Bonecrusher and found out some interesting things about her and lost a friend. Busy book.

In this book we see a little more romance/sex than is some of the other books. I liked most of the book. I think my biggest issue with this book was not a huge thing but is a carry over from previous books, is Delilah and Chase, it still bugs me that they are still together. I know she has forgiven him but I guess i have not. Other than my personal issues, the book was very good.
So my grade will be a 4 out of 5.
