Well, we’ve gone and done it. We’ve brought back the month long Author Spotlight where we celebrate our favorite authors for an entire month. We hosted a few last year and then it kind of fell off our radar but because we can, we’re bringing it back and we’re hoping to have great discussions throughout the month on anything and everything concerning the spotlighted author.

This month’s author spotlight will be on a reader favorite in the romance genre, Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

SEP is known for her wildly successful Chicago Stars series which is a series based around a professional football team, the Chicago Stars. There are about six stories in the series and it is a series that most readers have enjoyed for one reason or another. Along with the Chicago Stars series, SEP has a back list that is chock full of fantastic contemporary romances that you won’t want to miss.

Everything you have ever wanted to know about Susan Elizabeth Phillips herself, everything you’ve ever wanted to know about any of her books could be found by checking out her website.

You can read her bio, check out her FAQ page, check out the latest news, see where she’ll be signing books and even check out some extra stuff as well. SEP has a great user friendly website that is easy to maneuver and easy to access.

Here’s a quick peek at SEP’s backlist:

That sure is one heck of a back list, don’t you think? For the entire month of September, we’ll be discussing everything SEP related so be sure to stop by and join in the discussions. We’d love to have you.

Also, we’re playing Last Hero Standing with all of the hottie heroes from the SEP world so be sure to get your votes in for that so that we can see which hero will be standing at the end of the month!

  1. Looking forward to your upcoming posts!

I’ve become a hard core fan of SEP’s books, due entirely to you lovely ladies! I won the copy of What I Did for Love, and there has been no looking back!

One of my favorite all-time contemporary romances is Natural Born Charmer.

I’ve especially enjoyed listening to the audiobooks, most of which were read by the late, and incredibly talented Ana Fields (aka Kate Fleming).

Thank you, ladies, for introducing me to a really winner of an author! 🙂

Ooh, love SEP! I’m currently reading Kiss An Angel and loving it, but my favorite SEP book is This Heart of Mine. I can’t wait to read Teddy Beaudine’s story and hope he and Lucy Jorik will still end up together.
