Casee: This has been a terrible reading week for me. I finished Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan which I found somewhat boring and rather tedious. I started Revenge by Lexi Blake, which is really good, but I just haven’t sat down and really let myself get into it. Which is annoying me. I’m annoying myself.

Holly: This week I read Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan. It was just okay. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t love it, either. I re-read Clean Sweep, Sweep in Peace and One Fell Sweep by Ilona Andrews and Fairytale Come Alive by Kristen Ashley. I have a bunch of great books on tap, but nothing is really grabbing me. March is usually a great reading month for me. I need to get out of this weird funk I’m in.

Rowena: I’m finishing up Midnight Target by Elle Kennedy and while I’m not a fan of Cate, I’m a big fan of everyone else on the team and I’ve spent quite a bit of the book, wanting to karate chop Cate’s head right off her stupid head. I’m enjoying the book, especially the angst going on between Boston and Sully. Their coming together is going to be epic and I can’t wait. After this, I’m jumping right into my eARC of Walk of Shame by Lauren Layne. I love this woman’s books like no other and I’m seriously anxious to start that book. I just know it’s going to be good, good, good.

That’s it on my end. The month of March has been a fabulous reading month for me and this week wasn’t any different so I’m one happy camper right now. I hope that I finish March out strong.

Casee: I finished Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan yesterday. It was so-so. I was a little disappointed. I’m getting reading to start Revenge by Lexi Blake which I’m super excited about! I love the Lawless brothers. After that I will probably dive back into Blake’s Masters and Mercenaries series.

I also finished Elle Kennedy’s Outlaws series. I love Dystopian romance. It’s so raw. I’m always on the lookout for new authors in that genre.

Holly: I re-read some Lisa Kleypas and Julie Garwood favorites this week. I didn’t have a lot of reading time, so I didn’t start any new books. I hope to start Shadow Reaper this weekend.

Rowena: I started off the week, finishing the Ravenels series by Lisa Kleypas. I read Devil in Spring and really enjoyed that one. It was my favorite book of the bunch. After that, I jumped into a re-read of Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas and boy did I love that re-read. Christopher and Beatrix are a fabulous couple! Then yesterday at work, I finished How the Duke was Won by Lenora Bell and thought it was solid read. I enjoyed it so much that I jumped right into the next one, If I Only Had a Duke. I’m not that far into this one but so far, it’s pretty good. I hope that continues.

Casee: I’m still on Elle Kennedy. I finished her Killer Instincts series and have moved onto her Outlaws series. I finished Claimed and am reading Addicted. I’m almost done with that and then will move onto Ruled. Rowena told me it was steamy and she was correct. This series is hot.

So now that I’m almost done with Elle Kennedy, I really need some recommendations. Who should I glom next? I loved Lexi Blake and Elle Kennedy. Do you guys have any suggestions? I honestly don’t know who to read next.

Holly: This was a slow reading week for me. I reread Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas, and then Cold Hearted Rake and Marrying Winterborne, which I’d never read before. That entire series was great. I’m glad I read it.

Rowena: This week was a pretty relaxing week for me. I’m working through some things at work but at home, things are pretty quiet. Basketball is done and Brenna has turned her attention to passing the rest of her classes and making plans for after she graduates from high school. Her plans have changed but they’re good plans so I’m pretty excited for her.

I did manage to get some reading done and that always makes me happy. I read Broken by Lauren Layne, which was good but not my favorite of the bunch and then I read Crushed by Lauren Layne (the book following Broken) and holy cow, I enjoyed that book a lot more than I was expecting to. Michael St. Claire is all kinds of yummy and I ate every word of his story up. After that, I read Cold Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas and enjoyed that one as well. Devon and Kathleen were fabulous character with a charming romance that took me to my happy reading place and I’m super excited to jump right into Marrying Winterborne…which is what I’m reading right now. So far? It’s great!

Casee: I’ve been glomming Elle Kennedy’s Killer Instincts series. I am loving this series. I’m currently on book five, Midnight Captive. I’m only a chapter or so in, but it promises to be as good as the last few. My favorite book has been Midnight Games. I’m going to have a lot of reading time over the next few days and I can’t wait!

Holly: I had a pretty good reading week. I read Pipe Dreams by Sarina Bowen. It’s the best of the series so far, I think. I really loved Lauren and Mike. Red Wolf by Jennifer Ashley was good. Not my favorite book of the series, but still good. I re-read The Will by Kristen Ashley and Match Me If You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I tried to read Ice Wolf by Jane Godman, but I couldn’t get into it. I think this is a case of me and not the book. I’m going to go back to it at some point in the near future.

Rowena: I had a pretty strong reading week and I’m so glad because I haven’t been in the mood to pick up any books the last couple of weeks. So far, all of the books I read were solid reads. I read Archangels Kiss by Nalini Singh, Havoc by Jamie Shaw, Off the Ice by Julie Cross, When the Marquess Falls by Lorraine Heath and now I’m reading Isn’t She Lovely by Lauren Layne.

All of the books that I read this week were good but my favorite of the bunch is definitely Isn’t She Lovely by Lauren Layne. This book has me cracking up and sighing all over the damn place and I love that on Lauren Layne’s Pinterest profile, she’s got a board for each of her books that shows her inspiration behind the characters, certain aspects of the book and all of that because I can totally see Stephanie Kendrick as…Anna Kendrick and Chace Crawford is the perfect Ethan Price. Stephanie and Ethan have big time chemistry and I love their witty banter. Gah, Lauren Layne is my favorite. After this, I’m jumping right into Broken by Lauren Layne because it’s the next book in Layne’s Redemption series and I’m anxious for it.

Casee: This has been a really good reading week for me. I read and reread Silver Silence by Nalini Singh. It was good the first time, but it was great the second time.

I just finished A Cold Dark Place by Toni Anderson which is free on Amazon right now. It was pretty good. It is the first book in her Cold Justice series. Now I’m reading Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy. Rowena turned me onto the series awhile ago, but I’m just now starting it. It’s really good so far.

Holly:This week I read Silver Silence by Nalini Singh and Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs. I’m about halfway through Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas. All three are pretty spectacular.

Rowena:This week was a slow reading week for me. I didn’t read much except Silver Silence because, well, it’s Silver freaking Silence by Nalini Singh. Of course, I read that shit. That’s the only book that I read and I really liked it. I’m so excited to see where that spin off series goes from here. I’m also curious to see who the next couple will be and Bo! OMG, Bo!!!

Anyway, now I’m reading Archangel’s Kiss by Nalini Singh for my buddy review with Holly. So far, I’m enjoying it but I’m not that far into it. Wish me luck on getting it read before the month ends. 🙂
