Christmas is right around the corner you guys and I’ve been in a list making mood so I made a list of the bookish stuff that I would love for Christmas. You know, if you’re in the giving mood. Haha. Just kidding but here are bookish things that would make great Christmas presents for the book lovers in your life.

1. Books Washi Tape.

Ames and I have a Happy Planner/Bullet Journal obsession that is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon and if you’re us, you can’t ever get enough bookshelf washi tapes. Washi tape is everything in decorative planning and we’re book nerds on top of planner nerds so this is definitely on our Christmas wish list.

2. Bookish Planner Stickers.

Here’s another thing that book loving planner nerds would love to get for Christmas. I got a bunch of planner stickers for my birthday last month and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning so to actually get them on Christmas morning would probably make my life. Stickers are everything and these stickers are fabulous for book lovers!

3. Bookish Coffee Mugs.

Books and coffee just go together. If you don’t believe me, take a look at Bookstagram. Every other picture is of current reads and morning coffees. I want in on that so bookish mugs are on my wish list. As you can probably see, ever since I became a planner addict, I’ve become an Etsy person. So much good stuff there, check out some bookish mugs that look good.

4. Bookish Totes.

If you’re a reader, especially a reader of print books – you need somewhere to put all of those books so the perfect place to put them is a tote bag. There are plenty of places that have bookish totes that are adorable and I included some links for you guys to check out. Don’t say that I don’t do anything for you guys. 😉

5. Gift Cards.
Buy It:
Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo
You can never go wrong with getting a book lover a gift card to their favorite book shops. There will always be a book that they want to read and don’t have yet so seriously, you can’t go wrong with a gift card. If you want to buy them actual books, check out our Books to Binge On feature for some fabulous releases.

So here are a few things that made it onto my Christmas wish list but I’m pretty sure that other book lovers will love getting any of these things as well so good luck with your holiday shopping and Merry Christmas!

I Made a TBR Jar!

Posted January 13, 2014 by Rowena in Features | 13 Comments

Last week, Ames posted about making a TBR jar to tackle her TBR pile and suggested I make one as well. What’s a TBR jar, you ask? Well, it’s a jar full of book titles from your TBR pile and what you use it for is to choose your next read.

So because Ames told me to make one, I did.

Here’s what mine looks like:

Just started with a mason jar that was lying around my house.

I used colored paper strips to write down the books I need to read.

Then I folded them all up.

Threw them all in my pretty jar.

Here’s the final product.

Now, I need to see what my first read from my TBR jar will be. Stay tuned for that one…

ETA: Ames posted pictures of her jar, check it out!
