All I Want for Christmas is a big, cozy Christmas story about the importance of family, the strength of childhood friendships, and learning to trust your heart.

Fans of Carole Matthews, Susan Wiggs and Susan Mallery – and anyone who likes the glow of Christmas lights and the rustle of wrapping paper – will fall in love with this feel-good Christmas treat.

Christmas comes once a year . . . But true love comes once in a lifetime.

Snowflakes are falling, there’s carol singing on every corner, and Leah Evans is preparing for a family Christmas at her grandmother’s majestic plantation house in Virginia. It won’t be the same now that her beloved Nan is gone, but when Leah discovers she has inherited the mansion, she knows she can give her daughter Sadie the childhood of her dreams.

But there’s a catch. Leah must split the house with a man called David Forester. Leah hasn’t heard that name in a long time. Not since they were kids, when Davey was always there to catch her.

Now David is all grown up. He’s gorgeous, successful, and certain of one thing: Leah should sell him her half of the house.

They can’t agree, but as they share memories over wine by the log fire, Leah notices a fluttering in her stomach. And by the look in his eyes, he’s starting to feel it too.

Will it be Leah or David who must give up their dreams? Or, with a little bit of Christmas magic, will they finally understand Nan’s advice to them both about living life without regrets … and take a chance on true love?

It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas! ( I KNOW you just sang that didn’t you?) Well I was anyway, so you might as well join in and sing along with me! And now I bet that little ditty is probably going to be stuck in your head for a little while even though it isn’t even Halloween yet! Yep………you’re certainly welcome!

All I Want For Christmas is a Kindle Fire HD 10 Tablet with 64GB and loaded with 100 bestsellers! Oops…….what I MEANT to say was All I Want For Christmas by Jenny Hale. is a wonderful way to get yourself into that holiday mood. Since most of the stores already have Christmas trees and decorations up, why shouldn’t I already be loading up my Holiday TBR stack! I do it every single year because I love everything about the holidays. There is absolutely nothing more enjoyable than curling up on the couch with a warm blanket, a cozy fire crackling in the fireplace, a big steamy mug of your favorite cold-weather beverage and a heartwarming holiday read! It doesn’t get any better than that my friends!

First of all, just looking at the cover of the book makes you happy. I love that all of Jenny’s books have that whimsical type of cover. The towns and various locales featured in her books are simply magical places with characters so warm and engaging, you’ll want them to be your friends and neighbors. I always look forward to books like hers because they slow down the often frantic pace of the season and give us a chance to just unwind and fill out hearts and minds with beautiful stories of hope, joy and love.

Now I consider myself to be a pretty eclectic reader. I love many different kinds of books and am constantly switching back and forth between many different genres. But every year I look forward to my Holiday books. I not only read them myself, but have read them aloud to people in my family as well. Sometimes we sit up late with the tree twinkling and the Christmas music softly playing in the background and my aunt ( who is 74) will say “What are you reading?” I will show her my book and she’ll say “You should read it to me”, and so I do. We have a lot of good memories of the stories we have shared with each other over the years.

But anyway, back to our book. I am not going to go through the whole plot or anything as you can get all that from the back of the book or on the internet. What I AM going to tell you is that All I Want For Christmas will make you smile. I guarantee it. You will want to thank me that I recommended it to you. Jenny Hale never fails to make the holidays special. And, she has several different Christmas books out there, so you can’t lose no matter which one you pick.

Now I know that not everybody enjoys these types of books. They think they are sappy and sweet and not very realistic. But, we aren’t talking about them are we? You wouldn’t be reading this review if you weren’t just a little bit interested. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start grabbing up your share of these fun seasonal stories . We all know that sooner or later the power is gonna go out and everybody will be stuck with no tv or internet. But you’ll be just as happy as a bird with a french fry. Just remember to power up all those electronic reading devices or even better, go old school and grab yourself a regular book or ten! (But don’t forget your flashlight and some batteries…..lol)

I am thankful to the publisher and to NetGalley for allowing me the privilege of receiving an advanced copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review.
