Casee: I am still read/listening to the same books I was last Friday. I’m reading For You by Kristen Ashley and listening to Wife by Penelope Sky. I really have nothing interesting to report on what I’m reading.
Holly: Things are still crazy here. I haven’t had much reading time. I did re-read Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews and Repeat by Kylie Scott, but that’s all the actual reading time I had. I listened to two books, Complicated by Kristen Ashley – and Audible original – and The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare. I’m hoping I’ll have time to read this coming weekend, but don’t hold your breath.
Rowena: This week was another week that I thought I’d do good on the reading front and then…didn’t. I finished Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton for book club tonight and enjoyed that one again. It was a re-read but I read it years ago and didn’t remember much from it so it was a pretty fresh read. It took me a little to warm up to Ellie but I immediately loved Will. Ha! I started The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan but didn’t get very far into it so I’m hoping to finish that up this weekend and jump into The Rebel King by Kennedy Ryan though I might just jump into my eARC of Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas. Who knows. Wish me luck!

I’m reading Kate Stewart’s THE GUY ON THE LEFT. I’m enjoying it. It’s about an 18-year-old high school senior who lies about his age in order to have a one-night-stand with an older women—and the life-changing consequences when the woman discovers she is pregnant and that her baby’s father is still in high school.
That sounds very interesting, DDD.
@Kareni: What’s really interesting about the book is that it shows the on-going consequences of a single lie and how those consequences continue to ripple through the lives of the hero, heroine, and their child for years.

— Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows: A Novel by Naomi Kaur Jaswal for my book group. I found it a fairly quick read as I finished it in two evenings. While it had some darker content, I found it a light read overall.I
— Starship’s Mage by Glynn Stewart. This book started out on a small scale (which I liked) but quickly got a lot more complex (while I still enjoyed it, I liked the beginning better). I’m unsure whether I’ll continue on with the series.
I’m reading an Advance Reader Copy of Wild, Wild Rake by Janna MacGregor. I like it.
