I’m often reminded of that and how honest many people are when students turn in lost items that they’ve found at the university where I work. Today, a student brought me a cell phone that she’d found in the restroom; the student it belonged to showed up later looking for it, and I (and she!) was so happy that I had it for her.

Sorry I’ve got a kitten/cat post again. We had a special needs kitten in our store for the last few weeks. His condition is called Cerebellar Hypoplasia – nicknamed ‘Wobbles’ because he wobbles and falls a lot and generally lacks the coordination most cats have. He is one of the sweetest kttens ever and he never let his condition keep him from exploring or playing. We had a lot of people interested in adopting him but there was always a reason that their home wouldn’t be right for him. (I couldn’t adopt him because we aren’t home enough to give him the extra attention he needs.) He got adopted today to what I hope will be a totally amazing home!

my neighbors kids were piling up leaves to jump in them – they were having a lot of fun & watching them, I was too!

Seeing people helping out strangers in need, like the guy helping pay for an elderly lady’s groceries when she realized she left her wallet at home.
