I try not to read books that make me cry – like those that are described as heartwrenching. But occasionally one brings tears to my eyes during a sentimental scene, but can’t remember the last book that did that.

The last book that made me cry was the fifth book in David Weber’s Honor Harrington series; I confess that I’ve forgotten the title. I wasn’t expecting to cry while reading military science fiction!

Thanks for this month of Booksgiving!

I honestly can’t remember the last book that made me cry. . . . probably because I tend to avoid ones that I know will do so – there are enough other reasons to want to cry in real life, why seek out more reasons?

Oh, it was Julie Anne Long’s The Legend of Lyon Redmond. There were so many moments that just made me tear up when I was reading it because I read this series from the very first book and the story was very emotional for me.
