What Are You Reading? (244)

WAYR-New

Holly: Last week was crazy for Rowena and me both, so we didn’t do a WAYR post. I’m including my reads from last week here.  Not that I have much to report. My oldest is graduating this year and things have been crazy.

I read Dannika Dark‘s Seven Series. Seven Years, Six Months, Five Weeks, Four Days and Three Hours. I re-read Games of the Heart by Kristen Ashley.  That’s it.

Rowena: Like Holly, I haven’t been reading much. I have too many things going on but I did manage to read at least one book a week which is sad but something. I guess.

I just realized that it’s been a couple of weeks since I updated you lovely readers on what I’ve been reading. I’ve read All Played Out by Cora Carmack (so good!), Jesse’s Girl by Miranda Kenneally and last night, I finished Moonlight on Nightingale Way by Samantha Young. I really enjoyed all three books and am hoping that I’ll be able to get some reading in this weekend since I don’t have any plans. Yay for no plans! Boo for laundry since that is what I’ll be doing.

Right now, I’m finishing up The Duke and the Lady in Red by Lorraine Heath and then I plan on picking up Last Year’s Mistake by Gina Ciocca. I’m going to put a dent in my review pile this month, I swear it!

What are you reading? Anything good?

I am reading Origin by Jennifer Armentrout which I am enjoying. I am looking for some summer YA romance at the beach books though. Any suggestions? I’ve read so many already!

    • Hmm. Have you read Stephanie Perkins? Sarah Dessen? Morgan Matson? Kasie West? Jenny Han? How about some NA books? Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series is great. So is Kristen Callihan’s Game On series and Sarina Bowen’s Ivy Years series is another fantastic series. Cora Carmack’s Rusk University series is one that I”m really enjoying.

What have you already read so that I can get a taste of what you’re looking for.

  2. I was supposed to have finished re-reading all the Psy/Changeling novels before today, so I could focus on Shards of Hope. Of course, what with taking six days to travel, then finding Heart of Obsidian so incredibly difficult to review…let’s say if I make it, I’ll have to write that down as a tremendous accomplishment.

And of course, born procrastinator that I am, all I want to do is read something else entirely. This week I binge read/listened Nora Roberts. The three Gallaghers of Ardmore, the Key Trilogy, the Blood Brothers Trilogy and, right now, The Witness (still my favorite of hers).

Busy here too! in the last two weeks I only had time to read 2 books (*sob*), both short rereads. Well, in my defense I thought one was new to me. I didn’t realize it was a reread till I started it.
