Rowena: Holly is still off having a fabulous vacation in Europe so you guys get just me this week. Sorry. 🙁 The good news is that I have definitely been reading a lot more than I normally have this year and so I have things to report. Yay.

This week I read The Shameless Hour by Sarina Bowen and enjoyed it. I completely adored Rafe and the way that he was with Bella and Bella was great. There were things that bothered me in the book but I’ll discuss those in my review of the book but overall, the story was another great one that had me thinking about the kind of person I am and I’m really anxious for the next one. Team Leanne!

I also read Fall with Me by J. Lynn which is another book that I enjoyed but I didn’t absolutely love it. Roxy drove me nuts, which was a shame because I quite liked her in Stay with Me. I came to really like both her and Reece (sexy devil) but there was something missing that made me not completely fall in love with it.

Right now, I’m reading Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy. It’s the first Romantic Suspense book that I’ve read by Elle Kennedy but I’m liking it so far. I’m hoping to carve some time out over the weekend to finish this book because after this? I’m reading The Mistake by Elle Kennedy. Bring on the Logan loving. I can’t flippin’ wait!

What are you reading this week? Anything good? Bad? Let’s discuss!

  1. While I envy Holly her trip, yay for having you, Rowena! 😀

I’m in a sort of a reading slump–start a bunch of things, not getting lost on any of them–so I started my re-read for review of Kiss of Snow (as I’m trying to get reviews up to date for the release of Shards of Hope this summer).

The one new-to-me book that has kept my interest in a category length NA (yes, I know) by Bonnie Dee, Blind Passion. The thing is, I didn’t know it was a NA until I started reading it, and since I have liked everything I’ve read by Ms Dee, I decided to give it a try. So far, good.

  2. I’ve taken a break from the paranormal romances and I’m reading the Change Series by S.M. Stirling. I’ve read it once already but it’s worth reading again. Especially after it’s been a few years lol. The lovely thing about not remembering a book or series is that you can enjoy it more than once!

  3. Kareni

I’m currently reading Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh; I’m enjoying it.
Recently finished Carla Kelly’s Coming Home for Christmas as well as Drawing Lessons by Julia Gabriel.

  4. Jen

I finally got around to reading Chain of Command by HelenKay Dimon. Sweet contemporary with no nonsense, which is just how I like it. I also reread a few things because that’s all I could get my brain around.
