Nalini Singh is set to self-publish a series of contemporary romances featuring a rock group called Schoolboy Choir. Book one, Rock Addiction, is slated for release in September. The series will have a set number of books; 3 full length novels and 2 novellas, featuring each member of the band plus one additional story.

Rock Addiction Quote - Nalini Singh

New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh stuns with a sizzling contemporary romance…

A bad boy wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk…

Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction.

A one-night stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be…

Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…

It’s no secret I’m a fan of contemporary romances in general, specifically rock stars . Nalini Singh doing a contemporary rock star? My head almost exploded.

I was lucky enough to read this recently and let me tell you…it’s amazing. I’ve now read it several times and it just keeps getting better.  Fox is everything you’d expect from Nalini Singh. An alpha rock star with a sexy lip ring and whiskey voice. Jealous, possessive, sexy on a stick… and surprisingly sweet and tender. Molly is the perfect fit for him. She’s bold, knows her own mind and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. And if she’s just as possessive and jealous as Fox? Well, let’s just say that led to some of my favorite scenes. Both are a bit damaged, but they complete each other.  I fell in love with them.

The story is emotional, twisted, sweet and sexy all at once.  It’s spicier than many of her other books, but that worked so well.

Singh will have a cover and excerpts available soon. In the meantime, reviewers can sign up to receive a review copy or cover reveal information on her blog. My own review will be up soon.

    • I don’t think you have to have a Kindle account to request a copy. If you email Nalini or her assistant I’m sure they can clarify. Though AL is right, you can download the Kindle app to your phone, laptop or PC.

  2. Willa, if you have a phone, you can do the kindle app without actually having a kindle.

Also, received a lovely note from Ms Singh, you don’t need the Facebook page either. Hooray!
