Holly: June was a sad reading month for me. Only 9 books read. That’s considerably less than my regular average.

Down London Road by Samantha Young 4.5/5
Oracle’s Moon by Thea Harrison (re-read) 5/5
Sea Glass Winter by JoAnn Ross 4/5
Cyrstal Cove by Lisa Kleypas 4/5
Fire and Frost Anthology by Meljean Brook, Carolyn Crane and Jessica Simms 3.5/5
Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley (re-read) 3.75/5
Lair of the Lion by Christine Feehan (re-read) 4/5
Simply Irresistible by Rachel Gibson (re-read) 4.5/5
Raid by Kristen Ashley 2/5

My favorite read of the month was Down London Road by Samantha Young. I’ve since re-read that book..possibly hundreds of times. I loved the emotional angst and personal growth of the characters. Fabulous. My 2nd favorite was Oracle’s Moon by Thea Harrison. Honorable mentions goes to Lair of the Lion and Sweet Dreams. I love both those.

My least favorite read was Raid by Kristen Ashley. KA can be hit or miss for me, and this was a major miss. The hero was an asshole and the heroine a complete and utter doormat.

Rowena: June was a sad month for Book Binge then because I didn’t read much.

Towering by Alex Flinn (2 out of 5)
The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler (4.75 out of 5)
The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen (3 out of 5)
Wait for You by J. Lynn (4 out of 5)
The Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella (2.5 out of 5)
The Gamble by Kristen Ashley (4 out of 5)

See?  I told I didn’t read much.  I don’t even remember why I wasn’t in the mood to read, maybe I was watching movies and TV Shows.  Who knows, it’s October so I already forgot June (thanks a lot Holly =P).

My favorite read of the month was The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler with an honorable mention to Wait for You by J. Lynn.  The Book of Broken Hearts had a cute story, great characters and it made me hungry for empanadas.  Wait for You had a hot hero and a broken heroine whose story tugged at my heart strings so it was a good one.  My least favorite book was Towering by Alex Flinn.  The story was slow and the main characters fell in love way too fast and their romance just wasn’t very believable.  I spent most of the book wondering, “WTF?”  So yeah, that’s that.

How was your reading in June?  Do you even remember? =P
