In Hollywood, fame can be found on every corner and behind any door. You just have to know where to look for it. Nineteen-year-old Madison Parker made a name for herself as best frenemy of nice-girl-next-door Jane Roberts on the hot reality show L.A. Candy. Now Madison’s ready for her turn in the spotlight and she’ll stop at nothing to get it. Sure, she’s the star of a new show, but with backstabbing friends and suspicious family members trying to bring her down, Madison has her work cut out for her. Plus, there’s a new nice girl in “reality” town—aspiring actress Carmen Price, the daughter of Hollywood royalty—and she’s a lot more experienced at playing the fame game… When the camera’s start rolling, whose star will shine brighter?

Filled with characters both familiar and new, Lauren Conrad’s series about the highs and lows of being famous delivers Hollywood gossip and drama at every turn.

I’ve only read the first book in this series but I have the other two in my TBR pile and I’m still hopeful that I’ll get them read soon. I really like Lauren Conrad and don’t even care if she didn’t write these books. She was a sweet girl on Laguna Beach and I was a fan of her straight forward attitude on The Hills and I support her whenever I can. This book comes out on April 3, 2012 so it’s definitely on my radar, especially since this is Madison’s book. I’m all kinds of anxious to read this one.

Have you read any of the other books by LC? Will you be reading this book?

..and that’s your scoop!

This book is available from Harper Teen.

Oh yay, another LC fan. LC is one of those good natured people and even though she was the other girl in high school (messing around with a guy that had a girlfriend), they were best friends and she loved him, haha. I heart that girl.

I’m always glad to be of service. The book came out today so you should definitely tell your sister.
