Book Watch: This is So Not Happening by Kieran Scott.

After their long summer apart, Ally and Jake were hoping for a drama free senior year. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like things will work out that way…again. — It turns out that Chloe is pregnant and says that Jake is the father. Hammond is pissed at his best friend, but mostly can’t believe that Ally would stay with Jake. But Ally is tired of being apart from Jake and is willing to make it work. But that is easier said than done when Jake starts blowing Ally off to go to doctor’s appointments with Chloe and Ally joins the school play and meets a new cute guy.

But as graduation approaches, things get more complicated as new secrets come out and Ally realizes maybe Jake isn’t the guy she thought he was. After everything they’ve been through can Ally and Jake get out of Orchard Hill with their relationship in tact?

I read the first two books and adored both books. I enjoyed getting to know Ally and Jake, laughing with them, sympathizing with them and getting frustrated with them. Their stories are eye opening and real and I ate both books up. The last book ended on one of those OH NO SHE DIDN’T notes and I’ve been anxious for this book ever since.

This book comes out on May 1, 2012 so it’s still a long wait but seeing the cover (which is totally adorable!) and getting a release date is enough for me right now so woo hoo!

..and that’s your scoop!

  1. I LOVE THIS SERIES! I read the first book and have the second one, which is on my list to read. I have one more book to finish reading before I start HSNWI.

Kieran Scott is awesome. Have you checked out her series “Private?”

  2. Rowena

@Alex: Haha, you’re so right. This series could be like a YA soap, kind of like 90210…but better. =) It’s cute, you should read it. I know Ames read and loved the first book and should be reading the second book soon.

@TheDivineWriter: Welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by, I really enjoy this series too and am anxious for this one. You have to read the second book, it’ll make you really thirsty for this book.
