Book Watch: The Many Sins of Lord Cameron by Jennifer Ashley.

For some reason this book has caught my attention. I haven’t read any of the other books in this series and I don’t even know if I want to but I do know I want to read this one. Lord Cameron sounds like the very devil and I want to meet him. I’m on this historical kick and I can’t seem to get enough of them so this one is definitely going on my TBR list.

Has anyone read the other books? Do I need to read those books first before reading this one or can I read just this one? This book comes out on August 2, 2011 so mark your calendars, it looks like a good one!

  1. I’m eagerly awaiting this one…loved loved loved THE MADNESS OF LORD IAN MACKENZIE. The hero in that is unlike any you have ever read before. The second in the series, LADY ISABELLA’s SCANDALOUS MARRIAGE, was also good but I wasn’t as drawn in by the characters.

I imagine you don’t have to read the whole series but it is fun to have the characters pop up in other books so you can see how their relationships develop.

  2. I think you should read the first two books. I really loved both of them and trust me, they’re right up your alley. You’ll love them. The heroes are…MINE. Ha! All of them are mine. Mac, Cameron and Ian. Just so you know. 😛

Anyway, I thought this was an awesome book. I really adored Cameron.

  3. You’ll probably enjoy the book just fine, with reading the other two. But really–why wouldn’t you want to read The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie? It was brilliant, with a unique and unforgettable hero. Lady Isabella’s Scandalous Marriage was good and is well worth reading, especially since you’ve expressed an interest in “devilish” heroes.

I luuuurve these books! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!

Like others I believe you should read the previous one, especially the Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. That is one book that has stayed with me long after reading it. For some reason this one doesn’t seem as interesting to me as the others in the series but I’m still going to read it.

  6. The Madness of Lora Ian Mackenzie is an amazing book. It’s one of my go-to comfort reads, the other one being A Devil in Winter. Both have incredible heroes.

Like everyone else, I loved Lord Ian. It was a great book. I have book two in my TBR, but I’m not so intrigued by it, so I can wait. It’s Mac whose book I really want to read…he seemed like quite the very bad boy.

thumbs up on The Madness of Lord Ian McKenzie, too. I didn’t love the second one as much, either, but I liked it and I’m looking forward to the 3rd one as well.

  9. Even though I was interested in the other two books, I’m definitely getting this one: it has Paul Marron as Lord Cameron!

  10. I know this part of a series, but haven’t read any of her work. This sounds like a good one. Usually these don’t need to be read sequentially, right? Thanks for the heads up 🙂

  11. I’m w/ Holly, you HAVE to read the other two as well! They’re excellent and you get to see some of Cameron so you’ll be even more pumped for his book! DO IT! 🙂

Lorraine, you best pick up that book 2 you have…it IS Mac’s book!

YES, YES, YES read the others because you don’t want to miss these brothers!!

The Madness of Lord Ian was amazing!

And Mac’s book (The Scandalous Marriage of Lady Isabella) was great fun.

I also think it would give you background into Cameron that might serve useful.

CanNOT wait for this to be released!!

Oops, it’s not Mac I was talking about. I want to read the one about the brother who dabbles in naughty bedsport…that’s the eldest one, right? He seemed all repressed elder brother does the right thing all the time except in the bedroom type. Wasn’t it implied that he has uncommon interests in that area? 😉
