What Are You Reading? 10-3-10 (27)

Rowena: I haven’t much this week. I finished Montana Legacy by R.C. Ryan and thought it was just meh. Then I tried finishing Crazy for Love by Victoria Dahl but that’s slow going and I opened Montana Destiny by R.C. Ryan but I’ve only read the first page. Ugh, I need to hurry up and get out of this freaking slump. I hate it.

Holly: Thankfully, my slump seems to be over. I’m currently reading To Save the Devil by Kate Moore. It’s the second book in her Sons of Sins trilogy. It comes out on Tuesday. I liked the first book, To Tempt a Saint, which I read earlier this week and I’m excited to see how this one goes (Kate will be guest blogging on 10/5!). I’m really digging the historicals right now. This might be the beginning of a historical binge.

Casee: Casee is too busy partying it up in Vegas to read right now. She’s celebrating her hubby’s 30th birthday in style. Some of us (not that I’m going to name any names, Holly) are SUPER jealous that we aren’t partying it up with them. She’ll be back next week.

So tell us, what are you reading?

I have to read Mockingjay because it’s due back at the library in a few days. After that… I have soooo many books here. Probably Tessa Dare.

  2. I got over my tiny reading slump and finished “Accidentally Dead” by Dakota Cassidy and “Simply Irresistible” by Jill Shalvis. Both books were great and I especially enjoyed the new book by Jill Shalvis.

Now I’m reading “Me, mself and why” by MaryJanice Davidson and “Ten ways to be adored when landing a lord” by Sarah MacLean.

This week I also expect some books I preordered and I can’t wait to get and read them.

  3. I just finished Mad About The Duke by Elizabeth Boyle. This is the 2nd book in The Bachelor Chronicles: The Standon Widows series.

I read Almost Perfect (Susan Mallery) and Love & Loyalty (Tere Michaels). Started Finding Perfect, The Seduction of His Wife (Janet Chapman) and The Perfect Rake (Anne Gracie). Unsure yet, which of the last two will be my “second” book.

Hmm, I think I read something else, too, but don’t remember what!
