It’s 10/10/10 – What Are You Reading? (28)

Holly: I’m in another mini-slump. I don’t know what my problem is lately, but I just can’t seem to get any reading done. So far this month I’ve read two books – one full length and one novella. That’s pretty darn sad. I tried starting several books, but none of them really grabbed me.

I think I’m going to do some Rachel Gibson re-reads for our Author Spotlight. It’s been ages since I read RG and re-reading worked really well for me last month when I was in a slump. Wish me luck, will you?

Rowena: I just finished The Reckless Bride by Stephanie Laurens and I have since moved on to Married by Morning by Lisa Kleypas (yes, I know that I’m late to this party but so what?), I have about three more chapters of that book before I’m done and then I’m going to read Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. I heart the Hathaways.

Casee: I’m reading Unspeakable by Laura Griffin. I haven’t been reading much lately. I’ve also been reading non-romance lately. Fast Food Nation, The China Study and my favorite, Mad Cowboy. I’m looking forward to starting my re-reads of Rachel Gibson this week. It’s been awhile since I’ve read her.

I’m reading Mad About the Duke and absolutely loving it! It is so completely adorable;I swear I smile on almost every page 🙂

  2. I’m having a hard time sticking with a book – which is SO not like me. I’m currently reading Double Cross by Carolyn Crane, Dark Design by Luisa Prieto and Mad About the Duke by Elizabeth Boyle. I need to STICK WITH JUST ONE! lol

I just finished Seaside Letters by Denise Hunter. I started reading the first of the Salinger Sisters series by Sherry MacDonald, but I’m not sure if I’ll stick with it or not – I may have to read a few more historicals 🙂

  4. I just finished reading Ruthless, Reckless, and Breathless in the House of Rohan Trilogy by Anne Stuart.

Chelsea, I also enjoyed Mad About The Duke 🙂

@ Kathy – Who is the author of Mad About the Duke?

I am reading Twice Tempted by a Rogue. Yesterday I finished One Dance with a Duke and loved it.
