Holly: Am I the only person who can’t wait for school to start? Sometimes I complain that we go back so early (school starts tomorrow here), but I can’t find one complaint in me right now. I’m ready to get back to a regular routing and uninterrupted reading time!

Right now I’m reading Inside Out by Lauren Dane. It’s freaking awesome, y’all. I ADORE Cope and I’m LOVING Ella. And yes, I know it’s jacked up that I’m reading it now. 😛

I didn’t get much reading done the past week otherwise. I wasn’t in town much. I did manage to read Maybe this Time by Jennifer Crusie. It wasn’t my favorite Crusie novel ever, but it was still pretty damn fabulous. I also read Awakened by a Kiss by Lila DiPasqua. It was a collection of 3 short stories told as fairy tales. All three tales were steamy and sweet. I really enjoyed it.

Casee: I’ve been getting a lot of reading done this last week with my kids out of town. We just got them back yesterday so that time is definitely dwindling. I’m reading Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. Sometimes all I need is a good historical.

Rowena: I got a lot of reading done this week. I read Ten Ways to be Adored When Landing a Lord by Sarah MacLean which was fabulous then I finished Graceling by Kristin Cashore which was amazing, I also read An Offer You Can’t Refuse and Falling for You by Jill Mansell and The Julian Game by Adele Griffin. I enjoyed all of the books and can’t wait to read more. Right now, I’m reading Crazy for Love by Victoria Dahl.

Now that you guys know what we’re reading, what are you reading?

  1. I’m reading Beyond Heaving Bosoms. I’ve had it since it came out, but it kept getting rotated through my TBR pile and it took me forever to get around to actually reading it!

I have way too many books going. Main ones are A Very Stylish Affair by Emma Darcy (for GoodReads book club) and Forever and Ever by Patricia Gaffney. — willaful

  3. Rowena, how did you like the Jill Mansell books? She is one of my favorite authors.

I read Water Bound by Christine Feehan (loved it!), Love Hunt by Fiona Walker, Scarlet Nights by Jude Deveraux (loved it!), Sidney Sheldon’s After the Darkness, The Eggnog Chronicles by Carly Alexander, Secrets of a Shoe Addict by Beth Harbison, and Abandon by Jillian Hunter this week. My next read is Roses by Leila Meachum.

I’m reading Not Quite a Husband by Sherry Thomas. Would love to be done by Tuesday when Mockingjay comes out!

  5. I just finished Barely a Lady by Eileen Dreyer, a new Regency author. Loved it. Very angsty and intense – just what I love in romance.

  6. Just finished Edge of Desire by Rhyannon Byrd. Not my fav in the series but it was okay.
Currently reading Honoring the Goddess by Madison Blake and Infamous by suzanne Brockmann

  7. I’m reading How to Murder a Millionaire by Nancy Martin. So far–loving it. I knew I’d like this author when her opening line referenced the Great Gatsby in an ironic tone.

    Getting ready for school too!
