Kris‘ review of Tropical Exposure by Wynter Daniels

Megastar Marin Shay disappears from the radar a few weeks a year for a vacation from the pressures of Hollywood. This time, though, instead of the usual bodyguards she gets stuck with—beefy middle-aged men with bad breath and even worse comb-overs—she lucks into some scorching-hot eye candy.

Tony and Josh share the same objective—taking care of Marin in every way possible. And when she proposes they indulge her fantasy of a ménage a trois, both men are definitely eager to please.

There’s only one problem—one of them is really a tabloid reporter who could ruin everything.

This was a spicy quickie story. It was a nice escape to a private beach in Central America. Marin is sick of being in the limelight all the time so plans this vacation every year that takes lots and lots of planning to trick the paparazzi so they will leave her alone for a little while. She gets there and gets a nice view of one of the guards taking a shower with the deck shower and is impressed and turned on by what she sees. After some mutual flirting she ends up in bed with them.

The only thing that I would have wished differently is to have seen the other bodyguard’s POV, you saw Marin’s and the reporter’s but not the other guy. So he ended up being this extra hand in the story. This is not a deep romance, it is an encounter, so do not look for a traditional HEA. It does not end badly or anything like that, there is just no declaration of love. I liked the ending, it was a little abrupt but good.

I give this a 3.5 out of 5
