It’s 5/2, What Are You Reading?

Holly: It’s another week and time for another What Are You Reading post. My reading this last week has been pretty freaking sad. I’m in the middle of about four books I just can’t seem to get into. I bought a ton of books at Borders yesterday, however, so I’m hoping one of them will bust this slump.

Casee: I’m reading Wild Fire by Christine Feehan. I’m less than 10 pages in and the phrase “for all time” has been used at least a handful of times. Which is okay, b/c I’m always going to be a Christine Feehan fangirl.

Rowena: I’m in a great reading frenzy right now.  I finished reading Tempt Me at Twilight by Lisa Kleypas, started When It Happens by Susane Colasanti and thought that book was super cute and then started and finished Storm Watch by Jill Shalvis and adored that book as well.  I’m fishing through my books trying to see what I’m going to read next and I’m thinking I’m going to hold off on reading Haunting Warrior by Erin Quinn until tomorrow since I forgot that book at work and was too lazy to go all the way out to Seal Beach to retrieve it.  But I’m geared and ready to go!  Lots of fun reading for me this week.  I hope it leads me into this next reading week as well because I’m on a roll.

So now you know what we’re reading…what are YOU reading this week?

I’m exhausted and stressed so reading Justin by Diana Palmer, which requires no brain power! — willaful

  3. i am working on my way through hush, hush by becca fitzpatrick. i was hoping to finish it this weekend but unfortunately i’m only halfway through.

I am reading ‘Immortal In Death’ by J.D. Robb. Wow–this is a great book. It delves a bit more into what events have shaped Eve Dallas into the woman she is. A very difficult read at times, but wonderful all the same. And need I say more than…Roarke?

  5. @Teenyann – I heart JDRobb. Immortal is one of my favorites. Along with like, the rest of the series. 🙂

@ChelseaB, it’s been ages since I read LL.

@Rebecca – I heard really mixed things about Hush, Hush. What did you end up thinking?

@willafull – I have a ton of reads like that. I seem to be falling back on them a lot lately. That can’t say anything good, can it?

@Skyla – what do you think? I believe I stopped reading just before that book.

  6. I did a re-read of LH’s Burn last night. It’s been awhile since I read it and I kept thinking about the first part of the book, when Jenner won the lotto money. I was thinking about her ex and her best friend and the way her life changed, so I decided to skim through it really quick.

Before I knew it, it was 1 a.m. and I’d read the whole thing. I stand by my original opinion – it was good, though not LH good. We needed more info about Cael, IMO.

  7. I’m reading Always a Temp by Jeannie Watt (Harlequin SuperRomance). Pretty good so far.

I finished B.J. Daniels’ Gun-Shy Bride (Harlequin Intrigue) the other day. Loved it! I love a whodunit with lots of logical suspects and I can’t figure out who the killer is!
