Another month, another author. This month we’re spotlighting an author that is near and dear to all of our hearts. She has written incredible historicals that have melted our hearts, studly sexy heroes that we fight over and finally she’s written some fantastic contemporaries that we can’t get enough of. How can we not spotlight her good works for an entire month?

This month’s Author Spotlight will center around: Lisa Kleypas.

Lisa Kleypas is known for her historicals but most recently, she’s known for writing some breathtaking contemporaries. I have enjoyed every single book that I’ve read from her and she’s a big time author that I pimp to my friends and family.

You can read a whole lot more about Lisa by going over to her website and reading her bio. You can also find Lisa on Twitter, if you’re not following her yet, you should definitely fix that. It’s great to be able to see what Lisa is up to these days…

Her book list includes:

Lisa Kleypas has definitely written a lot of romances. It’s impossible to not read at least five LK’s that you didn’t absolutely love because Lisa Kleypas is that good of a writer. If you haven’t read her before, dare I ask…WHY NOT? You’re totally missing out and over the course of this month, we’ll tell you why we love Lisa Kleypas and we’ll be discussing anything and everything about LK. You won’t want to miss out!

We’re also voting for our favorite LK heroes so make sure you vote for your favorite LK hero on the sidebar to the left. We’ll be voting heroes off each week so let’s see which heroes make it to the end…it should be interesting!

I know he didn’t get his own book, but I’m crazy for Gideon from Again the Magic. But all her heroes are swoon-worthy. My vote will go for Sebastian St. Vincent.

  2. I’m really looking forward to LK month! I haven’t read any of her books yet but I know you’ll all convince me where I should begin : )

I adore LK and all her works, there’s always something she brings to the table with her wrting that just captures you right then and there.
I have yet to read any of her contemporaries though…

  4. A couple of years ago I glommed LK and loved just about everything! Now, there are a couple of Hard to find novels that I haven’t read, but mostly I just have to wait impatiently for each new release, whether they be historical or contemporary.

  5. Yay, Derek’s in the lead now. Quite a few of her others that are favorites, too, but Derek still beats them all.

I never miss an LK book. Don’t read many contemporaries, and loved those, too.
