How about I can NEVER pass up a buy 4 get the 5th free sale at Borders. NEVER!! I mean seriously people what is my problem? Like I don’t have 200 books in my TBR! Issues I tell you – I have fuckin issues! But, let’s be honest…sometimes I really like my issues! 🙂

That being said – I got some good ones! *insert hysterical laughter here*

  1. LOLOL well… you’re in good company! I already own two of those (unread in my TBR pile) and another two of those on my TBB list for next week.

I’m telling you… sometimes I think I enjoy planning which books I want to buy… and shopping for books… and looking at the books on my shelf… as much as I enjoy actually reading them! The anticipation is half the fun, don’t you think? … or do I need professional help, too? 😉

  2. Yes – you do need professional help just like me. Maybe we can get a twofer from the doctor! lol

The problem I have is that when I go to Borders to just get say 2 books and then they have the sale my mind suddenly goes blank and I’m trying to think of all those books I wanted to read. Maybe I should start carrying a list! lol

  3. Maybe the doc will do a threefer…but then again, I dont think I have a problem. Does that mean I’m in denial?? I think I’ll stay right here in denial a little while longer!! I kinda like it here!

I am so there with you. I have done the 4 for 5 twice this month at Borders and the 3 for 4 on amazon!!

And Christine, the anticipation for the new releases, buying them and then letting them sit on my shelf for days, weeks, months, sometimes (but rarely) years is great!! I love the hunt for the book just as much as the read!!

  4. Jen

I’m just not seeing the problem with the 5 for 4 sale. ; -) Just imagine the extra money you would have spent on that 5th book. Notice how I just slip into the role of enabler?? LOL. I agree with Amy, it’s the hunt for the books that I love so much. Once you spot that hard to find book, it only puts up a whimper and a fight for just a little while and then goes along with you peacefully.

  5. Ok – that was “I WANT to live there too!” Oy – I apparently can’t type but that’s another issue! lol

Jen – I totally agree with the book buying. I love it – THAT’S why I have so many on my shelf – even ebooks! I love the buying. Issues! lol

  6. Okay, I’ve made room for you here in Denial! It’s a really great place to be. I think you’ll enjoy it too :).

  7. It’s nice and cozy, isn’t it? So glad you’re here with me :).

Do you smell that? *takes in a deep breath, with a dreamy look* That, my friend, is the smell of books!!

    LMAO!

You know what I think? I think these people who design fragrances that are supposed to entice the female hormone need to come up with something that smells of books!!

  8. It’s so good Katie! I think you’ll like it. At least you limited yourself to 1! haha! The day after I went to Borders the library called and ALL 5 of the books I ordered had come in. Dangit…what to read next?
