Robyn Carr: Contest!

Posted October 26, 2007 by Casee in Giveaways, Promotions | 16 Comments

Robyn generously offered to give away an autographed set of the Virgin River trilogy! All she asks is that you sign up for her newsletter. To do that, email us w/ your email address to thebookbinge@gmail.com . We will forward your email address onto Robyn and you will be signed up and therefore entered to win. Robyn wants to assure everyone that she NEVER shares reader information with anyone. Nor will she sign you up for anything other than her newsletter. All in all, it’s definitely worth it!

You didn’t think it’d be that easy, did you? In addition to emailing us, we’d also like you to tell us why you love the Virgin River series so much. Is it the small town? The hot men? Rick? If you haven’t read it, tell us why you want to read it.

Comment by midnight PST on Friday, October 26th and the winner will be announced later that day.

  1. What I love about this series is the small town atmosphere. Virgin River sounds like a dream town. A great place to raise a family. The characters are so real you feel as if you know them. What I also like about the series is that every book is interesting. Sometimes in a series the first few books might be great then the 3rd might be not as exciting. That’s not the case with this series.

  2. I have never read any of your books… but my friend read Virgin River and she loved it… and she promised to lend it to me… I am still waiting.

Though I think it is the idea of the idea of a small, dreamy town… when you live in a hectic major city!

  3. Just a reminder, you have to send us your email address to get signed up for Robyn’s newsletter to be entered in the contest…leaving a comment here isn’t enough. Be sure you send your email address to thebookbinge@gmail.com so your name is entered!

  4. I want to read this trilogy… because I love series and it seems it is great fiction, with a lot of depth to the characters with a hint of romance… maybe more than a hint… I have to read to find out!

Well, I haven’t read them yet (I know, my bad). I love series books though, and I do like the small town aspect. I really am looking forward to reading these.

  6. Crystal,
You can still be entered. Sorry, I would have answered sooner but I wanted to check first.

If you would, however, please send us an email with your email address and say, “Already signed up” or something to that effect That way we can keep track of who enters (via email).

I asked Robyn, and she said the system she uses for her newsletter will automatically kick out any duplicates, so you won’t get entered twice.

    Sorry for the confusion there!

You tell me this AFTER I just bought 2 of the books?? lol

  8. I haven’t read this trilogy yet, but I added it to my TBR list a while ago on the basis of the really good reviews I have seen around the place!

  11. I like this series because of the small town atmosphere, it was really well done 😀 In addition, it’s a straight contemporary romance and the characters are hot 😀

  12. I emailed y’all. I don’t care if I already bought all three, my mom is reading it too and loves it. This can be her set then. =D
